I am so looking forward to reading this debut novel by Marcie Steele. The cover is utterly delightful, and word is that 'Marcie Steele' is actually a cover name for a well known writer whose decided to write a little bit of chick lit.
Bookouture, the publishers of this lovely looking - and sounding book is doing a #WHOISMARCIESTEELE campaign on twitter and facebook right now... it's all really rather thrilling. Personally, I don't care who Marcie Steele is... (Sorry!), but I am eager to find out all about how the three women in this book are going to overcome the problems of starting their new coffee shop! I'll be back with my review soon!

What can you do to make the world a better place?
It may seem strange that I've opened my blog post with a question, but it's actually the one thing that encompasses the entire story of a brand new up-and-coming novel from the talented Lucy Dillon. Lucy has written a book that is released April 23rd, 2015, and it's called One Small Act of Kindness.
When I received it from the lovely people at Hodder, I couldn't wait to start reading it. I opened the book and intended to read only a few lines to get a taste of the style and opening of this beautiful book. But I literally just kept turning the pages - talk about a Page Turner of a book!
Let me share with you the description of this delightful and soul questioning book that will have you wondering what you can do to make the world around you a better place.
Libby and her husband Jason have moved back to his hometown to turn the family B&B into a boutique hotel. They have left London behind and all the memories - good and bad - that went with it.

But what I will say is that it starts with Libby struggling to locate the reservation details of a couple who booked to stay at the B&B. They don't appear to be on the system, but then again, Jason's Mum always booked in reservations in the Book. The entire B&B come Boutique Hotel in the making is upside down because Libby is in the process of the DEEP CLEAN and we ladies know what that means... Organised CHAOS of course ;)
Just when things seemed to be slowly resolving themselves, there is an almighty and terrible accident right outside of the Boutique Hotel, and Libby runs to see what's happened and if she can help. ...

There is a definitely theme to the summer reads this year - I've found them to be beachy, seashell mentioning and full of Greek Gods that we ladies can drool over - blame the heat, say it's making your sun lotion melt... around your mouth. No one will know!

Welcome to Feature Friday, this week's feature is on two books based in the early 1900s post-war and to me they seem like a lovely genre to read. We are fascinated by watching Downton Abbey, and Mr Selfridge - I know it's not just me! So I thought it would be nice to share in time for Mothers Day here in the UK a couple of books - one available to buy now, and one available to pre-order.

I am so so excited to discover and now share with you the fabulous NEW and EXCITING book series from Jenny Oliver. I think we all discovered just how much I loved her Parisian Christmas Bake Off so when I found out about a new series... the Cherry Pie Island series I was deliriously excited. More so when Carina UK sent me Book 1 of the exciting 4 part series via Netgalley.
I haven't been able to put it down and I'm sure the review will be here for you to read before Monday!

I am in love with book covers this year! I always pick up a book if it looks good... It kinda hurts to pick up a ... 'plain' book (I can't say that U word that has four letters and ends in Y...) so when I see pretty books like this one, my heart sings louder than the birds in the fields behind my house!
So, Ali McNamara is bringing us a Flower Shop themed story which for me is a breath of fresh air, we've had lots of baking themed ones, so I love the inventiveness of this already!

Well it sounds thrilling doesn't it? I have to say that on my initial 'quick flick' of my Reviewers Copy, Angela has really embraced the Black Country in this novel and the location mentions are ones that anyone who has ever lived in the area, worked there (like my Father did in the Police Force), will instantly recognize.
