Hello Gorgeous!

You want change. Maybe your career isn't what you thought it would be . . . or your relationships aren't what you had hoped. Perhaps you have a grand vision for your life but not the smallest clue on the steps to get there. Whether you've read the entire self-help section of the bookstore in vain or feel completely stuck on where to begin, you wish you had someone to hold your hand and guide you.
You do. And it's only a blank page away.
In Let It Out, millennial blogger, speaker, and podcast host Katie Dalebout shares the transformative practice that will rocket your life to the next level—journaling. Discovering in her darkest hours that a journal is the greatest tool in finding your purpose, healing yourself, and creating the life you most desire, Katie has assembled the remarkable tools and insights that will elevate your life and get you “unstuck”—for good.
And don't worry—you don't need to be a writer! Journaling is simply a method of coaching yourself through your “stuff” and letting it out on the page, unclogging your mind from years of destructive thoughts. In doing so, you step into a position of unsurpassed clarity.
Packed with journaling exercises, prompts, and techniques that can be done anywhere and in any order, this interactive guidebook offers you a new way to navigate your daily life, cope with stress, and create exciting, permanent change. Divided into seven sections covering everything from clearing clutter to finding presence to cultivating abundance to moving beyond fear, this book will be your new best friend and coach anytime you seek clarity or crave solace.
Simply grab a pen, open your journal, and prepare to let it out.

When Katie Dalebout published Let It Out, I couldn't wait to get my hands on a copy because being a serial planner addict and a hoarder of pretty journals, I KNEW it would be right up my street. I am one of those people that buys a gorgeous journal because you know, I can't live without it, and then once I get it home, I paw over it carefully and then put it safe so it doesn't get spoilt. And I never write in it.

Katie tells you to do the opposite of what I do... well halfly (is that even a word???). Katie implores you to invest in a gorgeous journal and pen and actually write in it. Like make marks resembling writing in the gorgeous immaculate journal! I know, for me it's still a work in progress but I promise you Katie, I'm getting better. I know that using the gorgeous journals are a way of showing myself love and respect because I deserve to use them! It's still a case of needing support meetings for it though ;)

Anyway, back to the book in hand - literally!

Let it Out is truly transformational and so powerfully healing on all levels. There is no need to be into spirituality, it's not that kind of self help book. This book is a tool that every woman, entrepreneur, creative contessa, solopreneur, wellness revolution thriver and GirlBoss NEEDS. I'm serious. There is everything in here to help you plan your meals better, be more productive in your day, honour yourself and your emotions, manifest and create all sorts of goodness - aka - Abundance in your lives.

I've tried quite a few of these techniques out and I have to say I was sceptical at how much they would actually help me. I was concerned they would take up precious time in my life. BUT I was proved wrong. They actually helped me feel stronger in myself and my wellbeing benefited from them.

I'm no newbie to journalling. I have used Morning Pages (Thank you Julia Cameron - The Artists Way), and I've done free-writing (Thank You University & Gabby Bernstein) and as I've mentioned before; I'm a planner addict. So the actual concept of Let It Out was not new to me, but what was new and refreshing to me was Katie's exercises given throughout the book.

Now, you don't just get a journal exercise at the end of each chapter... oh no...the actual book is FULL to the brim of Journal exercises...

It's basically a modern journalling encyclopedia for transformation
There is a very small introduction (in comparison to the rest of the book) that is where Katie shares her journey, her findings of journalling and explains how to go about beginning your journey through journaling. Every single page afterwards is journalling exercises. There is over 200 pages of journal exercises.. yes 200 pages!!

So if you are like me and like the idea of becoming more productive, more organised, more in control, more creative, less stressed and overwhelmed and having a good time whilst journalling in your super gorgeous journals... then THIS book is SO for you!!
